From humble beginnings.

Vista’s story began in 1986 in West Michigan, founded by two entrepreneurs who believed there was a better way to build a technology business. They believed in business rooted in long-term relationships, technical excellence, and respect for the people doing the work.

Building on a strong technology foundation.

Vista started as a small operation initially focused on mainframe systems and data center infrastructure. In those early years, we developed deep technical expertise and a reputation for reliability and trust.

Evolving with the industry.

Over the next four decades, technology platforms, tools, and delivery models evolved dramatically. What did not change was our commitment to our customers and the employees who serve them.

Today, we are among the few private technology companies with over 40 years of continuous operation.

By 2020, the different business units of Vista IT Group achieved new levels of success. To allow each unit to continue to thrive and grow independently, V3 Distribution, Vista Technology Finance, and VPE Group were formed. Each business was designed to serve different markets, customers, and strategic needs. The various companies remain united by shared values and ownership, these businesses required greater autonomy, focus, and dedicated resources to continue to scale effectively.
